HipHipHooray! It’s #MiniReadersMonday and I am loving it. I have given Isaac the task of using this # as an excuse to share HIS choice of book and then I can share my favourites of his on other days. So this week I chose his and Daddy’s (his not mine 🤪) current favourite which is Fox in Socks by Dr Seuss 🦊
This a real tongue twister and it has Isaac in stitches every time. I actually struggle to read it but listening to Isaac and his Dad read it together is such a funny experience.
Isaac has not got to the stage where he can ‘read’ it himself because he’s memorised it – it’s going to be so funny when he actually can read it himself.
One of the first books I bought for Isaac when he was first born was The Cat in the Hat which of course is an absolute classic! But we’ve read it even more than we’ve read Fox In Socks so we’re a little bit over it. I’ve found a few ‘spin off’ books in charity shops which we’ve enjoyed a lot more.
My favourite Dr Seuss book is And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street. Do you have a favourite?
